Hollie Croft

Hollie Croft practices on the affordable housing and tax credits, corporate and securities, opportunity zones, real estate and real estate capital markets teams. Her very particular focus is within the affordable housing and tax credits arena, where she is part of a team that has worked on billions of dollars in transactions over her career.

Select Representative Transactions

• Serves as lead counsel for the development consultant and assisted the consultant and the development team with the structuring, real estate development and financing of Sawyer’s Walk, which will be an 18-story tower in Miami’s Southwest Overton district containing 578 apartment units serving elderly low-income tenants (including 279 project-based vouchers), over 250,000 square feet of retail/commercial space and a publicly owned 955-space parking garage. This $340-million project closed in August 2021.
• Served as lead counsel for an affordable housing preservation developer on the purchase of a portfolio of five Section 8 properties in New York and New Jersey. The final piece of this $157-million project closed in February of 2021.

Croft serves on the executive committee for the 15-member Florida Coalition of Affordable Housing Providers Board of Directors. The group discusses policy, advocates legislative initiatives, promotes the affordable housing industry as well as collaborates and provides recommendations to the Florida Housing Finance Corporation.

Croft also serves on the board of directors for United Against Poverty Orlando, a nonprofit serving those in poverty by providing various social services such as crisis care, case management, food and household subsidy and more.

She is one of the few attorneys at Nelson Mullins to become a partner before age 40.
