The Miller-Hogue Law Firm

Founded The Miller-Hogue Law Firm in 2002

Has multiplied profits each year for nearly 20 years

Recognized as CREW Charlotte Networker of the Year

Possessed of an unflagging entrepreneurial spirit, Janeen Hogue at age 31 in 2002 founded, and remains the sole owner of, The Miller-Hogue Law Firm, P.C., one of the youngest woman-owned, and longest-running solo, most reputable real estate law firms in Charlotte. Profitable from the first year, the firm doubled its revenues in years two and three. Operating without business debt, Hogue has multiplied profits each year for nearly 20 years and the Firm celebrated a banner year in 2021.

Although Hogue had no local business contacts when she moved to Charlotte, she now works on many prominent projects, projects often awarded to larger, more established law firms with longstanding area connections, large capital budgets, and marketing campaigns. Her transactions list includes household names such as ALDI, Burger King, Starbucks, Ruths Chris, Dunkin Donuts, Office Depot, and Paul Mitchell.

Her portfolio includes work on some of the largest Uptown condominium projects, including one of the last ones built, SKYE Condominiums, as well as representing the joint venture of Self-Help Community Development Corporation and Crossroads Corporation for Affordable Housing and Community Development, Inc. in their Grier Heights Revitalization Project.

Hogue has also passionately served the Charlotte community. Since her arrival, she has been an active member of the YMCA while competing and supporting several athletic community events. She has contributed to the Women’s Impact Fund and served several causes in Dilworth.

CREW Charlotte has recognized Hogue as the CREW Charlotte Networker of the Year and has further nominated her for the CREW Network Impact Award. Hogue generated more deal referrals than any other CREW Charlotte Member, referring more than $100,000 in business in a one-year period.

These are some of the reasons that we named Hogue to our Atlanta & Southeast grouping of Lawyers in Real Estate. These are real estate attorneys who have distinguished themselves in both their practice and the larger community.
