The Savills US brokerage team, led by Joe Learner and Robert Sevim, had a record-setting year in 2021, despite the pandemic-generated office disruptions. The team assisted a multitude of companies across various industries who were focused on investing in office space to better meet the needs of employees and stakeholders.
The team ended up overseeing 3.96 million square feet of leasing deals at a $1.21 billion consideration. The largest transaction involved representation of Kirkland & Ellis in its 662,400-square-foot relocation lease to the new Salesforce Tower in Chicago’s Loop, completed in partnership with Newmark’s Bob Chodos.
Other notable transactions included the 114,383-square-foot lease on behalf of SMS Assist, which is moving to One Two Pru Building; Vizient’s 107,796-square-foot lease at the Old Post Office; and Havi Group’s 96,000-square-foot lease at 345 North Morgan Street.
