Pamela Yang

Having spent nearly 25 years in the financial sector, Pamela Yang pivoted career direction during the global pandemic, taking on a new role as the first-ever COO at a hyper-growth commercial real estate development firm in The Bulfinch Companies, Inc. Yang was drawn to Bulfinch because of the history of the company, its quality of work, industry leadership, and its innovative and inclusive team-first culture. Her extensive financial, investment, and operations experience, as well as a proven track-record of visionary corporate leadership, positioned her from the start to be a valued asset and key member of the Bulfinch team as it continues to broaden its portfolio.  

Since joining Bulfinch in January 2021, Yang has emerged as a new leader within the company, driving the firm’s strategy, innovation, performance, and culture. Specifically, she’s responsible for the visioning and implementation of Bulfinch’s Drive to 2025 strategic plan and company culture initiatives, including DEI efforts. Yang is also overseeing the reimaging of Bulfinch’s new workplace for 50 employees while diversifying the firm’s leadership team through key/strategic hires, including a new SVP/CFO and SVP/chief technology officer.  

Most recently, Yang served as managing director, head of charitable asset management at State Street Global Advisors, overseeing more than $3 billion in assets. Prior to joining State Street, Yang spent more than 18 years in several financial and leadership capacities at Harvard Management Company, Inc., including SVP, head of trust investments and operations, helping guide the company through substantial growth during her tenure.
