Amy Julian

Amy Julian is an SVP with the Debt & Structured Finance group in CBRE’s Miami office, where she specializes in advising clients on financing solutions across all commercial property types throughout the country. In the past three years, Amy and her team closed more than $6 billion in financing and sale transactions! 

Julian received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical and computer engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. She began her career as a hardware design engineer at Teradyne, Inc., an automated test equipment designer and manufacturer.  

While working as an engineer and taking classes to earn an MBA from Boston College, Julian signed up for a real estate investment class and caught the real estate bug. She then joined the Real Estate Club and tailored her degree to focus on finance and real estate, which would prepare her for the inevitable career switch. However, her engineering background still provides her with a unique perspective and a thoughtful and detailed approach that sets her apart. 

A few of Julian’s noteworthy deals include arranged financing for the acquisition of Brickell City Centre, a 260,000-square-foot office project in downtown Miami; completing a $90 million financing deal that initially began in 2019; and arranging construction financing for an industrial build-to-suit for an e-commerce tenant in the largest industrial submarket in Tampa.
