Heather Stewart

As CFO of the rental housing investment and development firm Blaze Capital Partners, Heather Stewart is responsible for the financial oversight and risk management of the company, while also actively participating in and leading strategic growth initiatives. 

Since the inception of the company, Stewart has been instrumental in establishing and offering investors an institutional-style reporting platform, with a smaller, boutique feel and personal touch, a testament to the Blaze mission and brand overall. Blaze has transacted over $1 billion in gross asset value in five years, and currently has a pipeline of acquisition and development opportunities comprising roughly 1,500 units and totaling over $300 million. 

In addition to mentoring her growing team at Blaze, Stewart is dedicated to mentoring other women who are in the same field. Stewart prides herself on serving as an advocate for women in the workplace and being a female CFO has given her the opportunity to provide leadership and counsel to other women looking to grow professionally.
