At Bethesda, MD-based Melnick Real Estate Advisors, working in both the Mid-Atlantic and South Florida offices, VP Jesse Mates assists Scott Melnick and the team with asset sales, due diligence, business development, and actively sourcing off-market purchases and sale opportunities.

In addition, Mates actively focuses on raising equity and tailoring multifamily investments that fit the unique needs of athletes and entertainers. Since the firm’s launch a few years ago, he has been involved in the sales of, and/or originating financing for, more than 4,500 units totaling $890 million.

These are just a few reasons we chose Mates as one of the Washington, DC 2021 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s fifth annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.
