Athas and Olson joined Berkadia in 2020 to open the investment sales office for Berkadia and cover New England and Upstate New York.

Selling the Mill 240 and Washington Mills lofts in the spring of 2021 was an exceptional win for the buyer, sellers, Berkadia and the City of Lawrence.  Totaling 435 units, the project has revitalized a historic, and, at that time, defunct, stretch of the Merrimack River into a bustling neighborhood for the region’s growing roster of tech workers, medical professionals, educators, defense contractors and others to call home.

Berkeley Investments and Global Gate Capital are believers in this transformative project and decided to double down by acquiring additional adjacent assets to further re-develop and strengthen this stretch of Lawrence.
