Head of CRE finance at Trepp

Leads Trepp’s commercial real estate and banking businesses

Integral member of Trepp's initiatives into the CRE loan and banking space

Joe McBride, head of CRE finance at Trepp, is a key leader of the firm’s product development and market research initiatives. He leads business that supports clients that invest, lend, broker, value, and risk manage CRE assets.

McBride works closely with clients and industry groups to build and enhance data, models, and analytics that drive client investment decisions and streamline their work. His responsibilities at Trepp include helping clients incorporate data, develop applicable modeling data sets, and determining an approach for the process of building a”bottom-up” CRE stress testing model.

McBride has been working full-time in the CRE industry for almost nine years, during which time he has led Trepp’s commercial real estate and banking businesses. McBride has been standing out from his peers since the start of his career at Trepp in 2012, and even before that as an intern at Trepp in 2006. He has provided insightful data and analytics both internally and for market participants. He has been an integral member of Trepp’s initiatives into the CRE loan and banking space.

These are just a few reasons we chose McBride as one of the New York/Tri-State 2021 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s fifth annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.
