Danielle Ash

Danielle Ash joined Duval & Stachenfeld in 2015 as an associate and recently was promoted to partner. As an associate and now as a partner she has guided clients through a variety of complex negotiations and transactions. Ash has been a leader in negotiating several high-profile construction loans for the firm’s major developer clients, primarily in New York City, several of which involved complex elements, including ground lease financing, 421-a tax benefits, and negotiation around the ongoing rights of nonprofit and government sellers. 

These are just a few reasons we chose Ash as one of the New York/Tri-State 2021 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s fifth annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.

Throughout her time at D&S, Ash has been instrumental in not only growing her own career but helping her colleagues succeed as well. She has become a resource to many who are looking to help their clients and grow their networks and has helped to grow many of the firm’s specialty practice groups, including the Bronx, Opportunity Zones, PACE Financing, Fund Formation, and Ground Leasing.  

Ash has also dedicated herself to pro bono work and community outreach, volunteering her time for a longtime Bronx affordable housing and economic development nonprofit, WHEDco. She is a member of the board of the NY Chapter of Women in Housing and Finance and an active member of the alumni board for her alma later, New York Law School.
