Keen market insight and awareness

Became go-to life sciences expert early on

Encourages Raleigh team to give back

Ashley Lewis has been with JLL for five years, first as a researcher, then as a transaction manager and now as a tenant representation broker. Her experience as a researcher gives her keen insights and awareness of the market that the rest of the team does not always possess. Additionally, her years as a transaction manager have made her a technical wizard when it comes to lease negotiations and deal terms.

Coming off of 2020, the real estate market has looked very different. Raleigh-Durham’s life sciences sector (as in many areas) has really taken off. While JLL’s local team traditionally has been comprised primarily of office brokers, Lewis had the foresight to become an expert in life sciences early on and has become the sector go-to for the entire team.

Finally, Lewis is always looking for ways to encourage the Raleigh-Durham team to give back. Most recently, she has arranged for the office to participate locally in Dress for Success, an organization that helps women who have left the workforce return.

These are just a few reasons we chose Lewis as one of the Atlanta/Southeast 2021 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s fifth annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.
