Isaac Kassab is committed to mapping the world of proptech and understanding every inch of potential within the crossroads of technology and real estate investment and management. Over the past year, he has put together a research project to map out the proptech world as it touches on the RE sectors to identify opportunity for creation of technology in addition to supporting founders and proptech investors to understand strategic alliances, investments and more.
This drive and level of knowledge have propelled Kassab from his freshman year at college, when he invested in his first rental property, through his experience as an asset manager within a private equity fund immediately upon graduation and into his most recent jump into CRE tech at VTS, where the Miami-and New York-based Kassab works as broker success manager.
These are just a few reasons we chose Kassab as one of the Florida/Gulf Coast 2021 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s fifth annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.
Kassab believes that as proptech continues to enhance every sub-sector within the RE industry through efficiencies and overall value, financial capital investments in proptech are poised for an upward trajectory. That means one of the largest opportunities for the industry will be the inclusion and recruitment of human capital in the form of young individuals with an interest in RE to meet the demand of investment opportunities and match with the supply of financial capital.
