Ezgi Kosereisoglu
Director of Interiors in Gilbane’s Chicago office
Established Rising Contractor program
Chair - Northeastern Young Alumni Advisory Board
Ezgi Kosereisoglu’s project knowledge and high level of attention to detail have attributed to her early career success at Gilbane Building Company. With nearly 10 years of experience in the CRE industry, Kosereisoglu has the ability to see the bigger picture when it comes to managing projects. She is focused on providing the best value for her clients and giving back to the local community. She is currently working to complete her MBA from Northeastern University and plans to leverage leadership and business skills in her day-to-day work.
Kosereisoglu is continually finding ways to improve processes and make things better for every team she manages. She left a positive impact during her time leading Gilbane’s interiors group in Boston by establishing a consistent approach to preconstruction that balances speed to market and the need to mitigate risk. Kosereisoglu brings the same energy and drive to her newest position as the director of Interiors in Gilbane’s Chicago office.
Kosereisoglu has a passion for diversity and inclusion and recently found a way to turn that passion into a purpose with the creation of Gilbane’s Rising Contractor program. Starting in 2020, she built a network within Gilbane to create a strong program foundation for others to leverage across the company. From its infancy in 2020, the program has grown exponentially and is currently being implemented across Gilbane’s national footprint. The program aims to educate and mentor small and diverse contractors to bring equity into the industry. Kosereisoglu is now leading the Midwest chapter of this program.
These are just a few reasons we chose Kosereisoglu as one of the Chicago 2021 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s fifth annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.
