Skanska has fielded a team of five women to lead the $187 million Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute initiative, the region’s biggest hospital project, currently underway in downtown Orlando, FL.

The female-led project team is working to meet an aggressive schedule for a development that will have a significant community impact. The institute’s combined inpatient and outpatient facility will be dedicated to the care of orthopedic patients and will be one of only a few orthopedic-specialized hospitals in the SE.

  • Erin McAlear, Senior Project Manager: McAlear focuses on on-site project management, building sustainability and systems and community impact.
  • Emily Hayden, Project Manager: Hayden manages the project’s mechanical, electrical and plumbing facets
  • Tori Reszetar, Project Manager: Reszetar focuses on the project’s exterior skin and structure in coordination with the architect, structural engineer and field team.
  • Shubhangi Purani, Project Engineer: Purani works on the project’s exterior applying emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality
  • Faith Urena, Project Engineer: Urena teams with Harden on MEP facets while learning about heating, ventilation, and air conditioning
