‘Utility Trailer’ Plans to Move Its Headquarters to Fife, Wash.

Staying on-brand, tractor-trailer truck dealer Utility Trailer Sales of Washington plans to move its headquarters, from its Auburn, Wash., facilities to a new site in Fife, Wash.

The intended move comes after UTS, a holding of MK Holdings LLC, purchased eight acres of land along Interstate 5. Located at 4705 E. 20th Street, the site sold for $12.5 million.

Utility Trailer has four physical locations, according to its website, in addition to 20 “mobile service trucks.”

“This is one of the few development sites of its size along the I-5 corridor between the ports of Seattle and Tacoma,” Matt Murray, senior vice president at Kidder Mathews, said in a news release. “It will be a great location for Utility Trailer Sales of Washington’s business, with visibility on a major highway and enough size to accommodate their growing company.”

No building permits associated with the property have been filed with the county, so far, first reported here
